Downtown City Radio set to release debut end of August, get excited.

Downtown City Radio reminds us of the last Warped Tour season ever with their infectious pop punk song “Town and Country (Windows Down)”.  Having just been binge listening to pop punk bands such as Real Friends, Four Year Strong, The Maine, and other artists featured on Warped 2018 the single “Town and Country (Windows Down)” hits right in the feels where it should.

The bridge lyrics where the line “drove around the block again” repeats itself creates a circular sense of prosody that feels artistically genuine and pure.  Given the uplifting instrumental mixed with the downtrodden lyrics about feeling stuck and alone authentic to the style it is safe to say Downtown City Radio is defending pop punk and we should all be excited for their debut.
