Second single from Harlequin Gold is a clever mix of inspiring and relaxing

It’s chill like a cold Canadian breeze and desolate like the landscape.  With cutting imagery Harlequin Gold depicts “Youth” that has come and gone.  Overcoming the difficulties of innocence lost and sacrificed to age.  Finding escapism in books and sweet tastes like cola.

Fast forward to second verse describing bars and the vacancy of inebriation.  It seems though Harlequin Gold was mislead as a child to believe that the world might be hers and she is coming to grasp with the struggles of being a young artist making her way in the world.  Being an artist myself this song speaks to me and gives me comfort.  I’m excited to see her follow up single and you should be too.
