This song strikes nostalgia within me, remembering a family trip to Yellowstone and seeing Bison for the first time. Almost cried hearing this, I am such a sucker for songs between 3 and 5 sharps, “Yellowstone” (and other songs in those keys) makes me feel so much emotion it’s hard to explain. Luke is currently working on a full length where he writes, records, and performs all the instruments. What an incredible talent! The full length will be called “Bronco” and if it is anything like “Yellowstone” is sure to be sugary sweet and emotional. Keep it up Luke!
“Luke Wilmoth is an independent recording artist hailing from Lakeland, FL. A modern reminiscence of classic Americana, Wilmoth’s sound is carefully crafted from driving guitars, assertive drums, and lush vocals.
In 2017, Wilmoth released his debut solo EP, We’re the Lucky Ones After All. Recorded at Sound House Studios in Lakeland, FL, the record explores themes of aging, sentimentality, and self-criticism. Paired with melodic and accessible songwriting, the result is a vehicle in which listeners can engage in introspection and reverie, but still tap their foot to every beat.”
