Wooden Horsemen “Lies” teases a full length

Wooden Horsemens newest single “Lies” teases what is sure to be an experimental and fun rock record out November 2nd, 2018.  “Lies” features an intricate rhythmic pattern that has a give and take of space where the snare drum falls on the one every other beat and has a way of finding the perfect up beats to hit on to give the song a sense of urgency, not to overlook the bassists or other percussionists rhythmic choices which at first made me think the song was in 7/8.  An intense vocal performance that sounds bluesy from the lead singer (Steven Beddal) but has a monotone computer-esque etherial sound from backing vocalist (Missy Cross).  The songs instrumentation and infectious rhythmic qualities make Wooden Horsemen “Lies” a standout track for us at It’s Not Records and we are really looking forward to the release of the full length November 2nd, 2018.

“Past Lives is officially out on November 2, 2018. It stands both as a fiery testament to the American South, and an acknowledgement of the intimate relationship between music and spirituality.  We can’t wait for you to hear it!”
