This swagger bomb of a song is strutting down the sidewalk feeling good about yourself. I am partial to songs with 3 or more sharps and this doesn’t let down. F# minor pentatonic has always carried a ton of power, maybe it is the flat 7 back to the one. This production has plenty going on to keep a casual listener listening from start to finish. The slightly sloppy rhythms add to the authenticity of this piece keeping it alternative but also digestible. “Fresh AF” doesn’t take itself too seriously which is why you can jam out to this song while dropping haters off your shoulders like it is your business. Looking forward to what comes next from Irish outfit Eoin Glackin! Below is an attached artist bio and link to song!
“Dublin Alt-Pop songwriter Eoin Glackin draws on influences ranging from Johnny Cash to Beck on new album Fires of Innocence. His experience of writing hits for Irish musician Derek Ryan for many years has added country into the lifeblood of Glackin’s tunes. On new single Fresh AF, Eoin tells us “there’s a tongue in cheek element here. What drives the modern man or woman? Is enough ever enough or is chasing our tails the end game? Who cares as long as you’re “Fresh As F**k”. Beck was certainly an influence here.”
Eoin has supported the likes of Joan Armatrading and Damien Dempsey among many others”
