Tella Viv “Bang Boom Crash”

This fun indie pop song starts out with “Bang Boom Crash” and is loud and driving throughout.  Any song where the snare is hitting on all four beats consistently throughout sections of the song tends to be more driving then other songs.  Their are layers of vocals and guitars to excite a casual indie listener.  This song has so many colors going all the time and the panning and production is playful and infection.  Occasionally the guitar hits a bluesy note which adds to the pallet of the composition.  Tella Viv is exceptionally fun and the vocalist timbre is comparable to successful American groups such as SWMRS.  Definitely be on the look out for this Swedish outfit!  Below is more information on the act!

Tella Viv ”Bang Boom Crash” out on Bolero Recordings September 28, 2018

New single titled Bang Boom Crash is the first release from Tella Vivs debut album coming early 2019.

With taunting melodies and a bass riff that might stick in your head within the next hour, the lead vocals talks, whispers, oohs and mumbles throughout the song.

The band states that the song narrates a materialized world where somebody realizes one’s coffin is the ultimate show off piece.

Bang Boom Crash is their playful take on destruction and success. Struggling to stay pompous and dirty at the same time.

Luminaries of the Swedish indie scene, Tella Viv, has attraced listeners worldwide for their matchless vision of surf-romantic art rock. Fronted by singer Carl Hjelm, familliar to many for modelling A-list fashion brands the past years, the group also consists of guitarist Benjamin Lavén and sibling duo Marcus and Fredric Lindblom, whose musical resumé goes back to a variety of current Swedish pop acts.

Rejuvenating rock ’n’ roll ideas into the 2020s, Tella Viv brings you into a dreamy world where bold guitars and twiddling melodies meet in a poetic landscape. Themselves – known for having a penchant to allude definition – call their genres sophisto rock, Scandi surf or croon punk.

Tella Viv are now doing live shows (Sep 28th London The Old Blue Last, Oct 12 + 26 Stockholm)”
