A song with a title that plays into the current issues of today. I refrain from calling it politics because there is nothing political about this issue. Reminiscent of indie pop acts such as Lily Allens “Foundations” but with a deeper focus in lyrical content Kara Connolly “Abuser” is a pop production worth checking out. The song features a variety of both percussion and harmony instrumentation that flushes out a bold arrangement. Featuring rhythmic choices that are not your standard four on the floor but rather a more bouncy accent both eighth notes on the third beat of measures it is hard to get the harmony and rhythmic arrangement out of your head, not that you even want to.
