“For this release, the girls from COZIN joined forces with the American producer Steve Greenwell. He is the producer of soul phenomenon Joss Stone, who was awarded gold and platinum records worldwide. After hearing COZIN’s first album BURST, Greenwell was so convinced of the potential of this band that he himself made the band a proposal for a collaboration. The girls didn’t have to think long and hard about this.
At the end of July, Greenwell traveled especially for COZIN to Belgium where they recorded two singles in the Johnny Green Giant studio in Ghent. The songs were mixed in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where Greenwell took a close look at COZIN’s sound.
On this first single with Greenwell you can hear the girls’ vocal harmonies, accompanied on a Fender Rhodes, and interspersed with fresh violin lines. The song wants to bring hope against despair.”
