“Each Day” Drew Bond

Out of left field “Each Day” by Drew Bond features a different approach to songwriting that is uniquely refreshing.  Soft and deep vocals give a calm feel while the tenor vocal track creates a sense of urgency.  The repetition of the word “up” is my favorite piece of “Each Day” it sounds detached and melancholic.  The drum track remains relatively stagnant and what changes the dynamics are the layers of guitars, synths, and vocals  as well as the rhythmic choices of melody.  The songs form is fairly familiar with a verse, chorus, verse, chorus, guitar solo, verse, chorus, outro.  “Each Day” is the debut from Drew Bond and creates an otherworldly feeling within the listeners.  Definitely worth a listen if you’re looking for something left of center that also has a catchy chorus.
