Belaver “Vampire” is a very interesting arrangement in the choices of instrumentation and rhythmic patterns. The slow tempo lament is a song you could expect out of the band in The Nightmare Before Christmas. “Vampire” is both well produced and features a great combination of both out of left field arrangement choices and pop sensibility. Belaver has been releasing music since 2014 and you can find it all on streaming services and soundcloud alike. Check out attached artist biography below.
“Belaver (former frontman of doom-folk band listenlisten ) is the solo project of NYC-based experimental folk artist B.E. Godfrey. In 2014, Godfrey released Wild Desperation (Chill Mega Chill/Very Jazzed, 2014), his debut solo EP, featuring collaborations with country legend Robert Ellis and Deep Cuts ’ Chase Harris. Drawing on the dark lyricism of his work with listenlisten, Wild Desperation was a five-track EP chock full of elegantly stark instrumentation and ominous narratives about murderous men. Godfrey is now releasing new music under the pseudonym Belaver.”
