Sleepcircle “Apparition”, heavy guitar tones and soothing melodies

Fat guitar tones and a punchy busy groove support an atmospheric vocal performance by Curtis Wilson.  Sleepcircle is a five piece Vancouver based rock outfit that will fill the void of any 90’s head banger who’s been pining for new music with their new single “Apparition”.  When I first listened to this track I was reminded of Title Fights Floral Green combined with acts you might find on Tooth & Nail like Superheaven.  Something that really stuck with me was the falsetto “oohs” in the arrangement during the chorus.  Check out below for a YouTube stream, lyrics, social medias, and band biography.

LYRICS

I took a walk the other day

The sun was low the snow was high

Chasing dreams and flowing life

But I wasn’t living

I took a walk by the river

I thought I saw a child

The river speaks of memory

A waving apparition

Then I dreamed that you

Were smiling in motion

The sun was rising through

A broken apparition

It was then I knew old days were gone

Dear fate, let me go

He said, let the river guide you

And carry you where it will

So you

Were smiling in motion

The sun was rising through

A broken apparition

So you

Were smiling in motion

The sun was rising through

A broken apparition
