Fun and energetic indie rock sums up this jangly tune “Ozma”. London based alt band OSHENS would fit on a stage with Wavves or other SoCal beach punk rockers without ever realizing they’re from the U.K. given the sound. “She leaves a hole in your heart and then she’s gone” can sum up many peoples experience with love and loss, cleverly crafted melodic lines let the vocals and guitars play of each other in a way that is youthful and angst driven. OSHENS sound is familiar and while the band doesn’t have a huge web presence yet they have a promising energy that will continue to add to their growing catalog of songs.

Catch them live at Camden Assembly on the 29th of August for Jigsaw Festival in London.

This month we’re dedicating our single ‘Ozma’ to our brother Kiaran Carney. We hope this gives you something you can skip, walk, skate, cycle, dance, drive to… even with all the shitty hurdles life throws at us.

London based alternative rock band hailing from all corners of the world foster the sound of ‘beach punk’.

OSHENS are releasing a single every month for the year of 2💥19.

They were semi-finalists for the Isle of Wight Festival ‘New Blood’ Competition and have played in various venues across London including Nothing Hill Arts Club, The Troubadour, Nambucca and more.
